BlackEdge is always seeking highly qualified individuals to join the team. The typical entry level position is the Trading Assistant. The trading assistant plays a crucial role in the group's function and is expected to progress to trader within one to two years. Trading assistants have extensive responsibilities in risk management, trade decision support, software development, and back office reconciliation.

Qualifications:
Four year degree from top university
Prefer engineering, mathematics and basic science degrees
Minimum 3.5 GPA
Strong quantitative skills
Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Experience in intense, team based situations
Thorough understanding of computer programming and software development preferred
Availability to work 50-60 hours per week with occasional weekends
Prefer no trading experience
